The Times of Texas news journal is reporting on Aspen’s participation in the “We Honor Veterans” program. Aspen Healthcare Services, a Medicare-certified agency serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, has been named a national partner. https://thetimesoftexas.com/Business/aspen-healthcare-services-recognized-as-a-we-honor-veterans-partner/. Thank you to the Times of Texas for covering Aspen Healthcare.
“It is our honor to support local veterans who have valiantly served our country,” said Sukhu George, CEO of Aspen Health Services. “Our hospice team takes care of many veterans. Being a part of this program better prepares us to honor and respect their end of life and provide the care our veterans deserve.”
As a We Honor Veterans Partner, Aspen Healthcare Services will implement ongoing veteran-centered education for their staff and volunteers to help improve the care they provide to the veterans they proudly serve. The nation is seeing many of the veterans who served in World War II and Korea pass away—and the number of deaths of Vietnam veterans is beginning to rise. Aspen Healthcare Services also provides home health, respiratory therapy, and long-term, at-home personal assistance.
