Diabetes Increases Stroke Risk in Women



Diabetes, a chronic condition affecting millions worldwide, is often associated with a myriad of health complications. Additionally, diabetes-related complications such as diabetic retinopathy and nephropathy can serve as early indicators of vascular damage, signaling an increased risk of stroke in affected individuals.

Hormonal factors, including fluctuations in estrogen levels during different stages of life, can influence vascular health and clotting mechanisms, potentially increasing the likelihood of stroke.
